FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- UPDATE: One man is dead and another is in stable condition after a shooting on the city's southeast side.
The first call came in around 9:03 p.m. Tuesday. When police arrived to the 3900 block of Bowser Avenue, they found a man lying in the middle of the street. He was initially listed in critical condition, but died when he arrived at a local hospital.
Around 9:06 p.m, a second shooting victim showed up at Fire Station 11 at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Rudisill Blvd. He arrived in a private vehicle, asking for help after being shot in the leg.
Witnesses said two possible suspects fled the scene on foot. Detectives believe the two incidents are related. They're currently canvassing the area for additional witnesses and evidence.
The name of the first victim will be released by the Allen County Coroner, along with the cause and manner of death.
