FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- Fort Wayne Police are searching for a person of interest who was covered in blood after two men were stabbed at a motel Tuesday night.
Officers initially responded at 7:15 p.m. to a reported battery on the 1100 block of Coliseum Boulevard after a witness reported a Hispanic male walking in the area while covered in blood.

Investigators say officers were flagged down by more witnesses at the Coliseum Inn at 1020 N. Coliseum Blvd.
That's where police say they found two men with apparent stab wounds.
One of the men died at the scene.
Police say the second man was taken to a local hospital where he died during surgery.
Police say the preliminary investigation shows three men were fighting before the stabbing.
They say the man who was covered in blood is a person of interest but they have no further description of him.
Police are interviewing motel guests and reviewing surveillance video.
