PAULDING, Ohio (WFFT) -- Two Paulding County residents have self-quarantined after returning from a trip to Italy, which has been hit hard by the Coronavirus COVID-19.
Bill Edwards, Paulding County Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, said the residents showed no symptoms and have not been hospitalized. They will self-quarantine for 14 days, he said.
Ohio has yet to have any confirmed cases of the virus but officials say it's a matter of not if but when.
Italy has been particularly hard hit. The country has had 7,375 cases and 366 deaths. Italians who attempt to flee the country's lockdown could face jail time.
