FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Fort Wayne Police arrested a man on several charges after a recent traffic stop.
Back on Sept. 20, police pulled over a car they say was speeding from an area where neighbors reported shots fired.
Police say they noticed a lot of movement in the car, especially from the passenger.
The driver and passenger were identified and officers say they found them to have past involvement with guns and other criminal activity.
Police searched the car and found two guns, several pills believed to be ecstasy, and more than 50 grams of cocaine.
The driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Trevon Rolan, had a suspended license.
He was cited and released at the initial stop.
32-year-old William Britt was arrested on Sept. 28 and charged with two counts of Serious Violent Felon in Possession of a Handgun, Possession of a Handgun with Obliterated Identifying Numbers, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Dealing Cocaine.
