FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- UPDATE: The victims from Thursday's early morning shooting have been identified.
Deshaun Devon Richards, 25, was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head in the 400 block of Fourth Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His death was ruled a homicide. Richards is the 22nd homicide in Allen County in 2018.
Dernail Ivory Brown, 26, was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the back near the intersection of Harrison and Fourth. Brown was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead shortly after. Brown's death was ruled a homicide. He is the 23rd homicide in Allen County in 2018.
Breondon Devon Pinkston, 28, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 400 block of Fourth Street. He was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. His death was ruled a homicide. Pinkston is the 24th homicide in Allen County in 2018.
ORIGINAL STORY: Three people are dead after a shooting just north of downtown early Thursday morning.
Police were called to the intersection of Harrison and Fourth Street around 12:05 a.m. When they got there, they found a man shot on the sidewalk. Paramedics took him to the hospital in critical condition.
As officers arrived on scene they got word of a car that had hit a parked car on Fourth Street just west of Wells Street. Police were told the crash may be connected to the shooting. Police found two more men inside the car with gunshot wounds. One man was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Officers were later told the two men taken to the hospital had died.
Fourth Street was closed from Clinton to west of Wells until around 2:30 a.m. due to the large potential size of the crime scene.
Detectives spoke to multiple witnesses along Fourth Street. They were working to establish a timeline of events. Crime Scene Technicians also looked for any evidence associated with the incident.

The identities of the victims, as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Allen County Coroner.
