FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Students at the Anthis Career Center in downtown Fort Wayne are using cooking to help their future.

The culinary program at Anthis opened up their new business, The CUBE 2.0.

CUBE, which stands for Culinary Ultimately Benefits Everyone, helps the students learn about the restaurant business while offering up affordable lunches.

Senior Dominic Lee has been a part of the program for two years now and says he hopes helping run The CUBE 2.0 will improve his shot at getting into the restaurant business after graduation.

"I hope it takes us really far because having this on a resume is obviously going to show some improvement {in cooking}. People love to hear about it. I’ll tell you what though, i can promise you that no one is going to end up in fast food after this," Lee said.

The CUBE 2.0 is open Tuesday through Thursday. Customers place their order by 10 am and it’ll be ready by lunch. The group can also cater events.
