ANGOLA, Ind. (WFFT) — State police detectives said they arrested a 24-year-old Steuben County man on multiple felony child pornography charges Monday a week after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
On Aug. 18, investigators with the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force said they received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a Steuben County man who was allegedly in possession of child pornography and distributing it.

The Indiana State Police said this tip ultimately led to a search warrant being served at a residence in the 1000 block of West County Road 500 South in Pleasant Lake.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested Zachary Fifer was arrested on two preliminary felony charges of dissemination of child pornography under 12 and possession of child pornography under 12.
Fifer is being held at the Steuben County Jail pending an initial hearing.
