FORT WAYNE (WFFT)-- State legislators came to Caroll High School in Fort Wayne Thursday night to discuss educational issues heading into the 2020 state legislative session.
Teachers and Northwest Allen County Schools administrators were able to ask questions and listen to an hour and a half long discussion by four state representatives:
State Senator Dennis Kruse was joined by Representatives Phil GiaQuinta and David Abbott, and State Senator Liz Brown on stage, and were glad to know there is a constant line of communication between state officials and community members.
"The big things is the 'hold harmless school' from the test results of ILEARN the other is decoupling teacher evaluations from test results," says Kruse.
The next forum will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the ISTA Fort Wayne office 3711 Rupp Dr., Suite 207.
