FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — The St. Joe Christmas Tree Farm team says they are excited to present a new procedure for Christmas tree sales this year in an effort to keep everyone safe and provide more options during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Owners say this will help keep their customers and employees in a safe and fun-filled enjoyable environment while choosing a Christmas tree this year.
Judy Reifenberg with St. Joe Christmas Tree Farm says shoppers can expect to see a few changes at the farm this year.
Reifenberg said unfortunately, train rides will not be offered this year due to COVID-19.
Those changes include face masks being required while visiting the farm and appointments are required for all tree sales.
The tree farm will also expand its shopping services online giving customers the option to pick up their products when they are ready.
The holiday gift shop will have a maximum capacity of fewer than 10 people inside at all times.
Pre-Cut Tree Sale appointment dates will begin on Saturday, Nov. 21 and Field Choose & Cut Tree & Pre-Cut tree Sale appointment dates will begin two days later on Monday, Nov. 23.
Reifenberg says they have many appointments available.
