KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) - A semi driver escaped serious injury after a semi caught fire Thursday.
It happened Thursday just before 6:30 p.m. on County Road 800W, north of County Road 400N in Kosciusko County.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's office said a semi was driving north on CR 800W carrying 7,700 gallons of ethanol alcohol.
The semi went off the shoulder and the driver overcorrected.
The ethanol sloshed in the tanker and disconnected from the cab, both rolled several times, starting a fire.
The fuel began to burn and spread to a nearby field.
