AUBURN, Ind. (WFFT) - It's a Labor Tradition and people from across the country are bringing their cars to Auburn hoping they sell on the Auburn Auction block this weekend.

"I would say this part of the country is where the real car guys are," said Pedro Meyer, curator for Calument Collection in San Diego.

Meyer said this is the first time he's been to the Auburn Auction Park as a seller.

"Auburn is a place where people know about cars and the quality of these cars and we decided at Calement Collection to bring them down there," Meyer said.

The thrill of selling cars at the Labor Day auction spans from coast to coast.

Andy Starr brought his car from Springfield, Virginia.

"I brought it here to auction it off and let someone take on the mantle of this car," he said.

Starr said there's no better place to sell a car than the Classic City.

"We really felt this was a great marquee and a long history of selling cars. We're really excited about it. We hope to sell this car and go home with a different car," Starr said.

The auction runs through Sunday.
