Schedule of activities released for Anthony Wayne Day

Fort Wayne's first Anthony Wayne Day will be all about traveling back in time July 16th.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Fort Wayne's first Anthony Wayne Day will be all about traveling back in time July 16th.

Members of the Anthony Wayne Organization Inc. released their schedule of events Tuesday morning that will include educational opportunities, historical re-enactments, and a block party.

To kick it off, there will be a tribute at the statue at Freimman's Square, then an event at the Old Fort at 1:00 p.m., a panel discussion, and lastly the block party at J.K O'Donnells starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m.
