FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- Sunday they held their animal care volunteer orientation.

The volunteers will be responsible for feeding the animals, making sure they don't escape, and maintaining the grounds.

The park is expecting a lot of visitors during the season so they are looking for more volunteers.

"We have all kinds of partnerships with different organizations so maybe if you're not into gardening, but you really think farming and tractors are cool, we have the connections to help people find," Kellie Adkins.

Adkins is the manager of outdoor recreations.

Salomon Farm Park is also looking to start a young farmers program for ages 12 to 17, and looking for help with keeping up their gardens.

Orientation for garden help will be April 16th at the park.
