SACS moves Kindergarten cut off age with state funding

The district announced on Facebook it accept students for Kindergarten if they turn five before September 1.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Kids can start Kindergarten in Southwest Allen County sooner than expected.

The district announced on Facebook it accept students for Kindergarten if they turn five before September 1.

This comes after the change in state funding FOX 55 first reported Tuesday.

Fort Wayne Community Schools said it'll keep it's cut off date as August 1.
