Run for the Fallen stops in Fort Wayne

America's Run for the Fallen is a 6,000 mile journey from California to Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Dozens of people participating in a national run to remember military service members came to Fort Wayne Friday.

America's Run for the Fallen is a 6,000 mile journey from California to Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.

Every mile, the group of runners stop and salute service members who died, 20,000 will be remembered during the five month run.

The group will leave Fort Wayne Saturday at 7 a.m. and go to Portland.
