FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Construction is heating up for the new Rescue Mission on Washington and Lafayette.
Chief of Operations Officer, Sam Hardy, says this expansion "will allow for more than 300 beds" to be provided for those in need.
The facility will include a larger dining hall, chapel, emergency shelter, health clinic, and even a community resource center for social interaction.
Set for completion this summer, the new Rescue Mission will embody over 80,000 square feet, almost four times the size of the current building on Superior.
