Police arrest suspect in Tuesday stabbing death

Arrested was Juan Molina, age 61 of Fort Wayne. Emergency Services Team and detectives executed search warrants on two homes late Thursday night in connection with the murder.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Fort Wayne Police make an arrest in the stabbing death of a woman on Lincolndale Avenue earlier this week.

Arrested was Juan Molina, age 61 of Fort Wayne.  Emergency Services Team and detectives executed search warrants on two homes late Thursday night in connection with the murder.

Molina is charged with murder in the stabbing death of 75 year-old Sally Duncan.  Medics and firefighters were called to the 3000 block of Lincolndale Avenue shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.  Duncan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives stated that numerous tips from the community aided in their investigation.

Molina is awaiting arraignment for murder and felony murder.
