FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Police say a person is in life-threatening condition after being hit by a vehicle near Snider High School.
Fort Wayne police responded to a call of a person that was hit by a vehicle at 3:50 Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Reed Road and Karen Avenue.

Police say that the man was walking on the east side of the road and for an unknown reason may have entered the path of an oncoming vehicle traveling northbound on Reed Road.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
FWPD is still investigating the incident.
