FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - More people will be able to eat in our community thanks to an effort put on by Parkview Hospital Randalia.

Parkview employees came together to pack twenty five thousand meals.

The meals will go to Community Harvest Food Bank.

John Bowen with Parkview Hospital Randalia says it's a great feeling knowing they're helping those who are hungry right here at home.

"At Parkview we want to make sure that we took care of the community," Bowen said. "We're very much about providing service. we're a service culture and so just the fact that we had over 100 volunteers really speaks to how we're really into the culture of Parkview."

It took the volunteers around an hour to pack those twenty five thousand meals.
