FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - "Enjoy downtown from a entirely different perspective," Mayor Henry said.

This year's Open Streets Fort Wayne takes place July 14, and people are already getting excited to put calhoun street to use outside of cars.

This year there will be added incentive to bring your bikes with the first ever bike parade where you're encouraged to decorate and join in.

the increase in bikes last year inspired this, so they wanted to add something else to get more people in on the fun.

This will be an annual addition.

Also, Open Streets will connect to West Central, East Central, La Rez, Hogland Masterson, and Williams Woodland neighborhoods just to name a few.

Also new this year will be the after party which will be 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. near the intersection of Calhoun and Masterson Avenue.
