ADAMS COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) - A person is dead after a crash in Adams County.
The accident happened around 1:38 p.m. Friday on County Road 1100 South, about half a mile west of CR 400 East.
Adams County Sheriff Dan Mawhorr says the car left the roadway for an unknown reason and hit a utility pole at the driver's door.
The driver wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The person's name won't be released until family has been notified.
The crash is still under investigation.
