LIMA, Ohio (WFFT) — The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Northwest Ohio counties next week.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says all outlined work is weather permitting.

- VAN WERT COUNTY
State Route 117 between SR 116 and Road T-8, near the village of Elgin, will close June 1 for a culvert replacement.
NEW IMPACT
Detour: U.S. 127 to SR 81 to SR 116 back to SR 117.
State Route 637 between C-12 and Feasby Wisner Road, approximately two miles south of the village of Grover Hill, will close on June 8 for two weeks to replace three culverts.
UPCOMING IMPACT
Detour: U.S. 224 to SR 66 to SR 114 back to SR 637.
Jefferson Street between Main Street and Crawford Street, just south of Central Avenue in the city of Van Wert will close on May 11 for approximately 90 days for a bridge replacement.
CONTINUING IMPACT
Detour: Main St. to Jefferson St. to Central Street to Washington Street to Crawford Street.
- PAULDING COUNTY
State Route 500 between the Indiana state line and the Paulding County line will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs.
State Route 637 between Township Road 156 and Township Road 168, in the Junction area, is open following pavement repairs.
State Route 637 between State Route 111 and Road 111 will have lane restrictions for drainage repairs.
- DEFIANCE COUNTY
River Drive and Fort Street in the city of Defiance. Additional work around the Clinton Street bridge will continue through summer 2020.
CONTINUING IMPACTS
West River Drive west of Clinton Street is closed.
East River Drive from Clinton Street to High Street is closed with access maintained to Pontiac Park.
Fort Street from Clinton Street to Wayne Avenue is closed.
NEW IMPACT
State Route 18 in the village of Hicksville will close June 22 for approximately two months for railroad repair.
The closure has been extended through mid-June.
CONTINUING IMPACT
Detour: Elm Street to Meuse-Argonne Road/Hicksville Edgerton Road to Industrial Drive to SR 49 to SR 2 back to SR 18.
NEW IMPACT
Detour: SR 6 to U.S. 24 back to SR 66.
State Route 249 at Openlander Road (Road 124) will close June 8 for four days for a culvert replacement.
UPCOMING IMPACT
Detour: SR 2 to U.S. 6 to U.S. 127 back to SR 249.
