North River property proposal gaining more support

More support tonight for the city of Fort Wayne's proposal to purchase the North River property -- north of downtown.

On Monday, Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. urged Mayor Tom Henry and council members to work together to make it happen. The group's CEO says talks have been going on for more than a decade, and it's time for city leaders to act.

The North River property is 29 acres of land just north of downtown.
