FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Mike's Carwash will give free Basic Washes to Veterans and active military personnel at all of their locations on Monday, Nov. 11.

Mike's will also offer them the option to upgrade to the Ultimate Wash for $5 with the proceeds donated back to Project Hero.

For non-veterans, Mike’s will offer their Ultimate wash for $15 and will donate $1 from each of these washes sold to Project Hero.

The washes will be given away in honor of Veterans Day as a token of appreciation to all the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces and the tremendous sacrifices they have made to defend our country.

Donations will also be collected to support Project Hero throughout the day.

"This is the fourth year that we are partnering with Project Hero for our Veterans Day promotion," says Mike Dahm, President of Mike's Carwash. "We are honored to have the opportunity to do something special for those who have served our country. Since beginning this partnership, we have raised over $46,000 for Project Hero and we cannot wait to add to that total with this year’s donation.”
