FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — One of the largest home improvement stores in the Midwest is making some temporary changes as to who is allowed in its stores in order to slow down the spread of COVID-19.
Menards has posted signs at its store locations that say children under 16 and pets are not allowed in its stores "due to the COVID-19 crisis."
The sign indicates if you look under the age of 16 you will be asked to show identification verifying that you are at least 16 in order to enter.
Service dogs are still allowed to enter with their handlers by law.
The new policy is also listed at the top of their website's homepage.
Current stores hours for Menards are:
Monday - Saturday: 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
