More than 30,300 new Hoosiers now fully vaccinated against COVID-19

More than 119,400 people in Allen County are now fully vaccinated. Across northeast Indiana, 91 new COVID-19 cases and two new deaths were reported to the Indiana State Department of Health.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) —  The Indiana State Department of Health reported that 43,793 more COVID-19 doses were administered and 30,464 more people are fully vaccinated as of Friday.

This brings the total to 4,740,534 doses of vaccine that have been administered across Indiana, according to the state's vaccine dashboard.

This includes 2,483,570 first doses and 2,256,964 Hoosiers who are fully vaccinated.

The fully vaccinated number represents people who have received a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines and those who received the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

More than 119,400 people in Allen County are now fully vaccinated.

Hoosiers age 16 and older are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Patients with an appointment at a state-hosted public vaccination site can get a free UBER ride.

Call 211 or (866) 211-9966 to receive a voucher to cover the cost of an Uber ride to and from your vaccination appointments.

The ISDH also announced that 925 additional people tested positive for COVID-19, which brings the statewide total to 733,591.

To date, officials report that 13,049 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 16 from the previous day.

Across northeast Indiana, 91 new COVID-19 cases and two new deaths were reported to the Indiana State Department of Health.
