FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- A man is in critical condition after a shooting on the city's Southeast side Sunday evening.
Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department say they responded to the 1400 block of Colerick Street after receiving calls of multiple shots fired around 6:18 p.m.
Officers were first told two victims may have been shot but when they arrived they found one man with gunshot wounds.
An officer rendered aid until paramedics arrived.
The man was taken to the hospital and later downgraded with life-threatening injuries, police say.
Homicide detectives and crime scene technicians investigated the scene.
No suspect information has been released.
