Man injured in Fort Wayne shooting

Police say a neighbor called police after the victim went to his door asking for help.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- Fort Wayne Police are investigating a shooting at the 400 block of West Essex Lane. 

Investigators say a neighbor called police after a man who had been shot came to his door asking for help. 

The victim was taken to a local hospital where doctors said his injuries were non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made at this time.
