FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- Police say a man is in custody after a standoff in Northeast Fort Wayne.
Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 4000 block of Oakhurst Drive around 3:30 p.m. after someone requested a well-being check at the home.
Police say the man at the home had called 911 over 50 times over the last two days threatening to kill officers and judicial staff members.
On Tuesday they said he was yelling at neighbors and threatening to shoot his guns outside.
When officers arrived, police say he became more agitated.
The department's Emergency Services and Crisis Response teams started to surround the home when the man came out and sat on the porch.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Police and prosecutors are weighing possible charges.
The road was blocked temporarily but has since been reopened.
