Man critically hurt in crash

The crash happened just after 1 p.m. on the 2600 block of East Pontiac Street.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - A man is fighting for his life after crashing his car into a utility pole this afternoon.


The crash happened just after 1 p.m. on the 2600 block of East Pontiac Street.

Police said the the driver was pinned in the wreckage and had to be freed by firefighters.

Officers on the scene said driver also went through the roundabout near there, damaging some signs before crashing into the pole.

It's not clear if the driver has some sort of medical episode if the driver was impaired.

The driver was last listed in critical condition.
