FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- Demarcus Walker has died just over a month after he was beaten by a masked man in the parking lot of the Apple Glen Walmart, his father told FOX 55 News Saturday.
“I’m hurt. Hurt real bad. As a father, this hurts. Losing my son. This is my second son I lost in three years," Houston Walker said.

Demarcus, 44, was leaving the Walmart on March 7 when police say a masked man beat him to the ground with a baseball bat.
The suspect off after a bystander chased him off with a gun.
Demarcus had been in the hospital ever since.
Fort Wayne police later arrested 21-year-old Levi Arnold.
Arnold and Demarcus Walker did not know each other.
Police say they believed Arnold "just snapped."
The family told FOX 55 News last month they believe it was a hate crime.
They are hoping for justice in his death.
“My son means the world to me and I would do anything for him," Houston Walker said.
