Local pastor passes away

Reverend Michael Latham, Sr. died Friday. The Latham family says they mourn the loss of him, but recognize and remember him as a pillar in the Fort Wayne community.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - The Fort Wayne community mourning the loss of a local pastor and former leader of the NAACP.

Reverend Michael Latham, Sr. died Friday. The Latham family says they mourn the loss of him, but recognize and remember him as a pillar in the Fort Wayne community.

Viewing hours will be held at The Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10th. The funeral will then take place on Saturday, May 11th at The Chapel at 11:00 a.m. 

The Chapel is located at 2505 W. Hamilton Rd. South.

Latham was 58 years old.
