FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who was shot and killed at a weekend party in Fort Wayne.
Fort Wayne police responded to the 1100 block of East Lewis Street just before 4 a.m. Sunday regarding a shooting at a party.
One victim was ruled dead at the scene and two others were transported to a local hospital.
The coroner identified the shooting victim as 29-year-old Frederick D. Sanders of Fort Wayne.
The coroner determined Sanders' cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death is homicide.
Sanders is the 28th Homicide in Allen County for 2020.
This incident remains under investigation by authorities in Allen County.
