FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - A man who was shot Wednesday night inside a north side Kroger store was identified.
Police say 46 year old James Michael Walker is still in critical condition at a local hospital. Officers responded Wednesday night around 6:30 p.m. Witnesses told FOX 55 News two men were arguing in aisle 5 before shots rang out.

The suspect reportedly ran out of the front door and police are still working to find him.
Kroger released the following statement after the shooting: "Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim. We are grateful to the customers who helped, especially the nurse who offered medical expertise. We also appreciate the response of the store's assistant manager and the police who reached the scene so quickly. We are cooperating with law enforcement as officers conduct their investigation."
