FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- A member of the Ivy Tech baseball team has died 10 days after he was injured in a car crash in Fort Wayne.
The Allen County Coroner's Office says 21-year-old Andrew Carpenter of Kendallville died Tuesday from blunt force injuries.
Carpenter was a passenger in a car that was involved in a crash at Coliseum and Executive boulevards on Oct. 19.
Five other people were hurt in the crash.
Carpenter was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead Tuesday at 4:17 p.m., the coroner's office says.
He is the 34th person to die in a car crash this year in Allen County.
