FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Ivy Tech Fort Wayne announces its delaying the start of classes because of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
Current courses and and the start of the new 8-week courses will delay until March 23.
Ivy Tech says then courses will all be taught virtually.
The initial plan is to have courses online until April 5.
The college says they'll monitor and adjust that timeline if they need to.
Ivy Tech locations will stay open to provide what they call student and business office assistance.
That includes services like meeting with advisors, admissions and financial aid, computer use and access to faculty.
This delay is for both the Fort Wayne and Warsaw Ivy Tech locations.
