INDIANAPOLIS (WFFT) — The Indiana State Department of Health reported 1,260 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, which brings the total to 693,452 people.
The state also reported 15 new deaths, bringing the total to 12,694 deaths across the state.
Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH.
Deaths reported Wednesday occurred between May 26 and April 6.
Indiana currently has a 7-Day positivity rate of 11.7% for unique individuals.
The Allen County Department of Health announced another 77 Allen County residents tested positive for COVID-19, with 33 confirmed PCR cases and 44 probable antigen cases, bringing the total to 38,385 cases and 666 deaths Wednesday.
Across northeast Indiana, 147 new COVID-19 cases and one new death were reported to ISDH.
A total of 405 probable deaths have been reported to ISDH.
Probable deaths are those for which a physician listed COVID-19 as a contributing cause based on X-rays, scans and other clinical symptoms but no positive test is on record.
These do not count towards the daily death toll.
ISDH says their dashboard has been updated to remove duplicate entries and correct county of residences with data submitted to them.

To date, a total of 3,118,886 doses have been administered in Indiana. This includes 1,827,696 first doses and 1,291,190 Hoosiers who are fully vaccinated.
