Indiana gas prices expected to increase

Drivers should expect to pay more when filling up later this week.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- Drivers should expect to pay more when filling up later this week.

Gas Buddy said you can expect a price hike in the Great Lakes states like Indiana and Ohio due to price cycling behavior.

That's when stations continuously undercut each other before giving in and raising prices.

Prices are up 5.3 cents from yesterday's average of $2.87.

The live ticking average now is $2.93.
