INDIANAPOLIS (WFFT) — The Indiana State Department of Health reported 3,188 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, which brings the total to 608,519 people.
The state also reported 50 new deaths, bringing the total to 9,317 deaths across the state.
The Allen County case count now includes a total of 11,156 probable cases from antigen tests reported since July 28.
Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH.
The deaths reported Saturday occurred between Dec. 7 and Jan. 22.
A total of 2,890,956 have been tested in Indiana, 21% of those tested are positive coronavirus cases.
The Allen County Department of Health announced there are now 32,857 cases and 548 deaths as of Saturday.

A total of 376 probable deaths have been reported to ISDH.
Probable deaths are those for which a physician listed COVID-19 as a contributing cause based on X-rays, scans and other clinical symptoms but no positive test is on record.
These do not count towards the daily death toll.

ISDH says their dashboard has been updated to remove duplicate entries and correct county of residences with data submitted to them.
