INDIANAPOLIS (WFFT) -- The Indiana State Police says a civilian employee has a confirmed diagnosis of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
ISP says the employee, who is assigned to the Laboratory Division in Indianapolis, was admitted to a local hospital for a medical issue. Today the employee learned they tested positive and remains in the hospital.
ISP says a coworker who worked closely with the employee has self-quarantined out of an abundance of caution.
State Police are working with the state Department of Health to monitor the situation and follow accepted virus mitigation practices.
