AUBURN, Ind. (WFFT) — State police arrested a DeKalb County man who is accused of molesting a teenager following an investigation lasting several months.
In October 2020, detectives with the Indiana State Police Fort Wayne Post say they were contacted by the Indiana Department of Child Services in Auburn and the Auburn Police Department to investigate an alleged complaint of sexual misconduct with a minor.
Authorities in Auburn allege that 30-year-old Clint Daniel Hess of Auburn was "engaging in sex acts" with a 14-year-old girl.
ISP says their five-month-long investigation ended last week leading to the arrest of Hess
Hess was arrested Wednesday afternoon on felony charges of child molestation and sexual misconduct with a minor.
He was transported to the DeKalb County Jail and booked into custody, where he will remain held pending an initial court appearance.
