FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Indiana University Fort Wayne is extending spring break because of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
IUFW announced today spring break will now end on Sunday, March 22.
All IU Fort Wayne classes will then move online beginning Monday, March 23.
The university says students in the health science program's clinical rotations will receive more information about the status of those experiences.
The announcement aligns with Purdue Fort Wayne's decision to help protect students be reducing large groups and in-person interactions.
IU also has a website set up to help keep the community informed about what's happening with daily updates.
