HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WFFT) -- The Huntington County Coroner's Office has identified the man who was killed after being hit by multiple cars Friday night.
Just before 7 p.m., the Huntington Police Department responded to a crash with a person injured at the intersection of Cherry Street and West Park Drive.
Police say just after 7:30 p.m. the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene after CPR attempts were unsuccessful.
The victim was identified as 58-year-old Melvin D. Norris of Huntington.
The coroner ruled Norris' cause of death to be blunt force traumatic injuries and the manner of death is an accident.
This incident is still under investigation by authorities in Huntington County.
