INDIANAPOLIS (WEVV) — Indiana teachers are becoming more frustrated, not knowing when they can get in line to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
So far, every bordering state to Indiana has opened up vaccine eligibility to teachers.
Governor Eric Holcomb hinted earlier, teachers could be eligible after Indiana finishes Phase One B, as they continue to vaccinate those 50 and older and with health conditions.
Some teachers across the state are wearing back as a "Black Out" to express opposition to bills in the house.
They say they're frustrated about not getting a pay raise, instead of seeing tax dollars diverted away from public education in the form of school vouchers.
