HAMILTON, Ind. (WFFT) - Hamilton Community Schools is close to setting a proposed tax rate for its new referendum.

Superintendent Tony Cassel told FOX 55 the school board is expected to set the proposed tax rate at its next meeting on July 15.

The is the school's second attempt to keep the district open after an operating referendum failed in November.

If this referendum fails we're told Hamilton Community Schools will consolidate into neighboring schools.
