Greek Fest kicks off 39th year

The event runs from now through Sunday. It features traditional greek food, drink, dancing, as well as games for kids.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Festival season is well on its way with another cultural festival that started Thursday.

Greek Fest kicked off its 39th year at Headwaters Park in Fort Wayne. The event runs from now through Sunday. It features traditional greek food, drink, dancing, as well as games for kids.

The Greek Fest chairperson says you can expect to have a good time and is proud to showcase his heritage to the city of Fort Wayne.

Greek Fest is also the biggest fundraiser for the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Wallen Road.
