Germanfest returns to Headwaters Park

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- Germanfest returns to the Summit City for the 37th year this week.

This is the year to get out and enjoy the week long celebration of the region's German heritage. Festivities began Wednesday in Headwaters Park and last through the weekend.

All your classic favorites are back like German food, dancing, live music, and the wiener dog races.

Admission to the festival is $2.00, and $5.00 after 5:00 p.m. Kids under 14 are free.
