Fort Wayne unveils sculpture at Promenade Park entrance

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation unveiled the new sculpture, Convergence, Friday.

The sculpture at the entrance of Promenade Park at Superior and Harrison symbolizes Fort Wayne's three rivers.

Now, parks director Steve McDaniel said he's even more excited for what is too come.

"It's that first step of the final stages of construction and putting the final touches. This is just a great final touch for us to put the sculpture up," he said.

There will be a three day grand opening celebration for Promenade Park beginning Friday, August 9.
