FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Police have announced a man who is considered to be a "person of interest" in connection to a deadly motel shooting that left a woman dead early Sunday morning.
Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department say 40-year-old Thomas Jermaine Jackson is a person of interest in the deadly shooting that took place at the Rodeway Inn just after 4 a.m. Sunday.

Jackson is described as a black man who 5'8" tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds.
Detectives said Jackson received information just after 8 a.m. that Jackson was possibly inside an adjacent room from where the woman was found dead.
Officers said Jackson is considered as armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked not to approach him and should call 911.
