FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — An officer for the Fort Wayne Police Department is under investigation.

Sgt. Sofia Rosales-Scatena, spokesperson, for Fort Wayne police confirmed there is an active investigation involving Officer Andrew Beck.
No details as to why Beck is under investigation have been released by officials.
"At this time I cannot relay the type of investigation it is without possibly hindering the case," Rosales-Scatena said.
The investigation is being conducted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department with assistance from the Indiana State Police.
Rosales-Scatena says Andrew Beck is currently not working in any police capacity within the city as he is on military leave.
